Knife-Wielding Thugs Rob Kids in Glasgow Park
Police are hunting two men after a shocking robbery in Glasgow’s Tollcross Park. The incident happened between 6pm and 6:30pm on Thursday, 18 July 2024, near the burn between Winter Garden and the Children’s Farm.
Teens Threatened Over Electric Scooter
Two boys, aged 14 and 13, were playing in the park when approached by the attackers. The suspects pulled a knife and demanded the 14-year-old’s electric scooter. They fled towards Tollcross Road with the stolen scooter.
Suspects Spotted with Distinctive Gear
- Both described as black males, late teens to early twenties, with English accents
- One wore a black Nike jacket, black Lacoste tracksuit bottoms, green Nike 95 trainers, and had brown hair
- The other wore a black Berghaus jacket, black trousers, and grey trainers
Constable Lauren Moffat urged: “We are appealing for anyone who may have witnessed the incident or saw the males in the park to please contact us.”
