Teen Knocked Out in Shocking Street Attack

Between 2.55pm and 3.15pm on Sunday, 9 May, a 17-year-old boy was punched unconscious while waiting to cross the road in Broad daylight.

Blow to the Face Outside Chapel Road

The teenager stood by his bike on Chapel Road’s pavement near the St Marys Road and Evans Street junction when a man suddenly struck him in the face.

The victim suffered minor facial injuries and was rushed to hospital for treatment.

Suspect Walked Big Dog, Pushed Pram

The attacker is described as muscular, either black or Asian, walking a Neapolitan Mastiff on a lead.

He was accompanied by a woman pushing a pushchair, heading towards the city centre.

Police Appeal: Seen This Man or Dog?

The incident happened some time ago, but police want anyone who witnessed the attack or recognises this man and his rare dog breed to come forward.
