Teen Seriously Injured After Car Rolls on Colwick Loop Road
Emergency crews rushed to Colwick Loop Road just before 9pm on Monday after a car veered off the road and flipped over. A 14-year-old boy was seriously hurt and is now being treated in hospital.
Two Others Hurt in Single-Car Crash
Two more passengers—a 19-year-old man and another 14-year-old boy—also sustained injuries and were taken to hospital. Police say no other vehicles were involved in the smash.
Police Appeal for Witnesses as Investigation Gets Underway
“This was a very serious incident that left three young people in hospital – one of them with very serious injuries,” said Detective Inspector Kate Savage from Nottinghamshire Police’s serious collision unit. “Specialist officers have worked through the night and spoken to several witnesses. If anyone else saw what happened, please come forward.”
