Police Called to Shocking Attack at Thomas Knyvett College

At around 2.30pm on Monday, police rushed to Thomas Knyvett College in Ashford, Surrey, following reports of a mass assault on a teenage girl. Officers found the victim injured outside the school.

Five Arrested, One on the Run

Five suspects have been arrested in connection with the brutal attack: a 39-year-old woman, a 43-year-old man, and three girls aged 16, 11, and 10. A 15-year-old girl is believed to be the sixth attacker and is currently on the run.

School and Police Move to Reassure Community

A spokesperson for Thomas Knyvett College said: “We know this incident will cause serious concern among students, parents, and staff. Every child should feel safe after school and not face violence in their own neighbourhood.”

Inspector Cilia confirmed extra police patrols will be deployed in the coming days to keep the area safe and reassure residents.

Surrey Police continue to investigate with the school’s full cooperation. They urge anyone with CCTV, dashcam, helmet cam footage, or mobile phone videos of the attack to come forward.

Police are especially seeking witnesses who were driving or walking along Salcombe Road between 2pm and 3pm on Monday to aid the investigation.
