Bus Blaze Chaos in South Beddington!

Double Arson Strikes on Route 154

At around 8pm on Friday, 8 October, the top deck of the number 154 bus from Croydon to Morden went up in flames while cruising down Mollison Drive, South Beddington.

The quick-thinking driver evacuated everyone safely—thankfully, no one was hurt. But the damage? Catastrophic. The bus was completely burnt out with costs soaring to around £200,000.

Police Hunting Suspect After Earlier Fire

This wasn’t an isolated incident. Cops want to chat with a man linked to another suspected arson on the same 154 bus just days earlier, Sunday 3 October.

A small fire was spotted at the rear of the bus travelling from West Croydon to Morden, but it was put out before causing major damage.
