Shock in Abbey Wood: Suspicious Package Sparks Police Lockdown!
Police swooped on Abbey Wood this morning after a suspicious package was reported on Maran Way, near Alsike Road. Cops arrested a man and woman shortly after 9am and quickly sealed off part of the street.

Officers moved fast to contain the scene, placing the area on lockdown as they investigated the package. Locals were left stunned by the sudden police presence.
