Chaos erupted at The Study Preparatory School in Wimbledon earlier today when a car smashed into one of its buildings. Police Commander Clair Kelland gave a grim update on the scene, confirming the heartbreaking death of an eight-year-old girl.
Emergency services rushed to Camp Road, including officers, London Ambulance Service" data-wpil-keyword-link="linked">London Ambulance Service paramedics, and London’s Air Ambulance. Despite immediate first aid, the young girl sadly died at the scene.
Driver Arrested on Suspicion of Dangerous Driving
The driver, a woman in her 40s, stopped at the scene before being arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving. She remains in custody as police hunt for answers.
