Officers swooped on a property in King Alfred Street, Normanton, at around 11.30am. A man was arrested on the spot and is now in police custody.

The bomb squad has been called to the scene. Evacuations are ongoing across King Alfred Street, Monk Street, and Wolfa Street as a precaution.
