Teen Stabbed to Death in Shocking Easton Street Attack

A 17-year-old boy was tragically stabbed to death in Easton Street at around 7.30pm on May 7. Police and ambulance crews rushed to the scene after reports of a stabbing, but sadly the teenager was pronounced dead at the scene.

Another Teen Injured But Stable

Authorities confirmed another 17-year-old boy was injured in the same attack. He was taken to hospital and is receiving treatment for injuries not believed to be life-threatening.

Four Masked Attackers on the Run

No arrests have been made yet. Police say up to four individuals wearing face coverings carried out the assault. Descriptions are limited.

Police Urge Witnesses to Come Forward

Detective Superintendent Kevin Brown said: “This is a tragic incident where a teenage boy has been killed. I know it will cause shock in the community, but I want to reassure people we are investigating this targeted attack thoroughly.”

He added the stabbing happened during a busy time when people were using local car parks, heading to the theatre, or preparing for a night out.

Local police are appealing for anyone with dash-cam, doorbell, or CCTV footage from Easton Street to get in touch. The area is expected to see a heavy police presence as the investigation continues.
