Security Guard Smashed After Vodka Theft in Southampton
At 9.35pm on Saturday 26 June, chaos erupted at a local shop when a man brazenly stole a bottle of vodka. The security guard on duty sprang into action but was violently attacked, suffering a broken ankle after being knocked to the ground.
Manhunt Underway for Thieving Assault Suspect
The injured guard, a man in his 20s, was rushed to Southampton General Hospital for urgent treatment. Police are urgently seeking to speak with a suspect spotted nearby around the time of the incident.
