Police Clamp Down on Havant Antisocial Behaviour with Dispersal Order

Dispersal Order in Force Until Tomorrow Afternoon

Police have slammed a dispersal order across Havant town centre, effective until 3.30pm tomorrow (November 25). The move follows a spike in antisocial behaviour complaints from locals.

Strict Boundaries Target Troublemakers

District Inspector Andrew Clinton has locked down the town centre with a strict perimeter. The order covers North Street, South Street, Elmleigh Road, Solent Road, Brockhampton Lane, West Street, and the junction of Union Road, Parkway, and New Road.

Power to Remove Suspected Troublemakers

Under Section 35 of the Antisocial Behaviour Crime and Policing Act 2014, officers now have extra muscle to order anyone causing, or likely to cause, trouble to leave the area immediately.
