Police Release Efit of Jewellery-Thief Who Raided Southampton Home
Police have busted out an efit of a man linked to a brazen house burglary in Southampton’s West End. The raid happened just after 2pm on Tuesday, July 12, at a house in Old School Gardens.
Victim in Their 60s Surprised by Intruder
An occupant in their 60s scared off the trespasser, who then bolted through the back garden clutching stolen jewellery. The haul included earrings and gold rings.
Suspect’s Distinctive Look Revealed
Officers describe the suspect as:
- White male, late 20s to early 30s
- 6ft 1in tall, slim build
- Dark, flat, straight, unwashed hair with fringe pushed to one side
- Stubble on upper lip and chin
- Thin, pointed nose
- Two twisted front teeth
- Wearing a plain blue windcheater

“This is a quiet cul-de-sac off a busy main road. We want to hear from anyone who recognises the man or has info about the burglary,” said PC Paul Rose from Southampton CID.
“If you noticed anyone acting suspiciously in the area around the time, please get in touch.”
