Mystery Death Rocks Brighton Park

A woman’s body was found in Queen’s Park, Brighton, sparking a major police inquiry. Emergency services were called to West Drive at 9.49pm on Friday, June 17, after she was discovered unconscious.

Tragically, she was pronounced dead at the scene around 10pm. The death is currently being treated as unexplained.

Sussex Police have cordoned off Queen’s Park while forensic officers investigate. Photos from the scene show SOCO teams busy near the park’s clock tower, searching for vital clues.

Police Appeal for Witnesses

A Sussex Police spokesperson said: “Anyone with information about the incident is asked to report it online or by calling 101 and referencing Operation Ranworth.
