Two PSNI Officers Hurt in Cross-Border Police Chase
In the early hours of Sunday, October 1, two PSNI officers were injured after a grey Audi A6 refused to stop on Concession Road, Crossmaglen. The vehicle sped off during routine patrols, smashing into the police car and leaving the officers hurt but not seriously.
High-Speed Drama on Concession Road
At around 12:20am BST, local officers spotted the Audi and tried to pull it over. Instead, the driver took off, ramming the police vehicle’s front. The injured officers thankfully avoided hospital treatment.
Serious Risks and Cross-Border Trouble
“This reckless and cowardly behaviour puts the public and officers at grave risk,” said Inspector McCormick. “We believe the car crossed the border during the incident.”
Police Appeal for Witnesses and Dashcam Footage
Inspector McCormick has urged anyone who saw the grey Audi A6 or knows the driver to come forward. Dashcam footage could be crucial.
