Horrific Southwark Quadruple Murder: Victims Named
The Met Police’s Specialist Crime Command (Homicide) continue to probe the shocking killing of four people in Southwark. Today, detectives have named the victims and launched a fresh appeal for information.
Victims Identified
- Denton Burke, 58, and his partner Dolet Hill, 64, who lived together on Delaford Road, Southwark.
- Tanysha (aka Rachquel) Ofori-Akuffo, 45, Dolet Hill’s daughter from Kennington, SE17.
- Samantha Drummonds, 27, Tanysha’s daughter from Forest Hill, Lewisham, SE23.
The victims’ families have been informed and are receiving specialist support.
Investigation Underway As Suspect Remains Hospitalised
Detective Chief Inspector Linda Bradley, leading the inquiry, said:
“This was a truly horrific incident and we recognise the overwhelming distress for the family and community. We are conducting a thorough investigation and urge anyone with information to come forward immediately. If you know or saw anything that could help, please call police or contact us anonymously.”

What Happened: The Scene of the Crime
Police were called at 1.42am on Monday, 25 April after reports of a disturbance at a Delaford Road home, SE16. Officers forced entry after getting no response and found four people—three women and one man—stabbed and fatally injured. Despite paramedics’ efforts, all four died at the scene.
Inside the property, officers also found a 28-year-old man from Lewisham. He was Tasered and arrested on suspicion of murder. Currently in stable condition in hospital, he remains under arrest.
Police Call for Witnesses
