Electric Saw and Battering Ram Smash Drug Den Door in Bulwell Raid

Police swooped on a Rufford Walk property in Bulwell early Tuesday, tearing down the front door using an electric saw and a battering ram. Inside, officers caught two suspects red-handed with bags of class B drug Mamba and scales.

Hidden Mamba Found in Kitchen Drawers and Sofas

Officers didn’t stop at the living room. They rifled through kitchen and bedroom drawers and even turned over sofas — uncovering large amounts of the deadly drug. A follow-up search at nearby Whitebeam Gardens turned up even more Mamba.

Two Arrested But Released — Investigation Ongoing

A 30-year-old woman and 51-year-old man were arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply. Both were released under investigation as enquiries continue. All confiscated drugs have since been destroyed.

Sergeant Issues Stark Warning to Drug Dealers

“Officers arrived just in time to catch the suspects in the midst of bagging up,” said Sergeant Adam Brown of the City North Operation Reacher team. “They tried to hide it, but only managed one deal bag before we crashed their party.” “This sends a clear message: we will not tolerate drug dealing on our streets. Tackling drugs is a top priority and this raid shows our commitment and the hard work of our officers.”
