£600 Stolen in Basingstoke Football Complex Break-In

Hampshire police launch urgent probe after crooks smash into Basingstoke football venue and make off with cash.

Masked Men Smash Window to Raid Powerleague

The break-in happened between 1am and 1.30am on Monday 23 July at the Powerleague site on Brighton Way. Two men, disguised in tracksuits, balaclavas, and trainers, smashed a double-glazed window to get inside.

Alarm Disabled, Tills and Safe Ransacked

Once inside, the burglars deliberately damaged the alarm system, rifled through tills and the safe, and snatched around £600 before making a swift getaway.

Police Appeal for Witnesses

Detective Constable Lisa Robins said: “We want to hear from anyone with info about this burglary. We’ve released CCTV images of two men we want to speak to. While their faces aren’t clear, can you identify their clothing?

“Were you in the Brighton Way area at the time? Did you spot two men in tracksuits and balaclavas? Perhaps you noticed a suspicious vehicle nearby? If so, please get in touch.”
