Motorbike passenger fights for life after horror crash in Wolverhampton
Pillion passenger critically injured
A pillion passenger on a motorbike has suffered life-threatening injuries following a crash in Wolverhampton today. The smash occurred on Dixon Street at around 1.12pm.
Emergency services rushed to scene
West Midlands Ambulance Service sprang into action, dispatching an ambulance, the Midland Air Ambulance from Cosford, and the Critical Care Car. A spokeswoman confirmed the injured man was given advanced trauma care at the scene.
Rushed to hospital under blue lights
The victim was taken urgently by land ambulance to Queen Elizabeth Hospital with the air ambulance team providing continued treatment en route. Thankfully, no one else was hurt in the collision.
