A shooting on Alexander Road in Enfield, North London, triggered a major police response in the early hours of Monday, August 26. The Met Police swooped on the scene shortly after midnight following reports of gunshots.

Officers arrived at around 12:38am to discover a damaged vehicle and spent bullet casings lining the street. Despite extensive searches, no victims were located at the scene.

A Met Police spokesperson said, “There were no victims located at the scene following reports of a firearm discharge.”
