Woman fights for life after moped crash in Bromley

Serious collision at busy Bromley junction

A woman in her 60s is critically ill after being hit by a moped in Bromley. The smash happened at around 1:30pm on Wednesday, February 28, at the junction of Rutland Way and Chelsfield Lane in St Mary Cray.

Emergency services rush to scene

Paramedics arrived quickly, treating the pedestrian at the scene before rushing her to hospital. She suffered life-threatening injuries. Police have informed her next of kin.

Moped rider stays put as police launch inquiry

The moped rider stayed at the scene following the crash. Police have launched a full investigation to establish how the collision occurred. They are appealing for witnesses or anyone with information to come forward.
