Armed Police Respond to Balcony Incident

Kent Police swooped on a block of flats in Chatham after reports of a man brandishing weapons on a balcony. The drama unfolded at 8:35am on Wednesday, April 22, 2020, at an address on Dock Head Road.

Fake Firearms Seized, Man in His 30s Arrested

Witnesses alerted officers to a man holding what appeared to be firearms. Armed patrols, backed by a police helicopter, quickly arrived on the scene. A local man, claiming to be an Instagram influencer, was arrested on suspicion of firearms offences.

Officers recovered four suspected imitation firearms during the search.
