Teen Star Tomkins Named Among Three Dead in Horror Heathrow Crash

Tragedy struck near Heathrow on Monday night when a Mercedes carrying four teenagers collided with an H26 bus on a narrow railway bridge on Bedfont Road. Among the three teens who lost their lives was 17-year-old Star Tomkins.

Devastating Collision Near Feltham Young Offenders Institution

The crash happened shortly before midnight near Feltham Young Offenders Institution. Star and two other boys, all in their late teens, died at the scene. A fourth teen from the car and two bus passengers were rushed to hospital with injuries, though their conditions remain undisclosed.

Fire crews from Feltham and Heston stations arrived swiftly and put out the blaze by 1:41am. Witnesses said Star was a local girl, leaving the community in shock.

Community Grieves as Road Remains Closed

Bedfont Road remains shut while the Metropolitan Police continue their investigation. Locals took to social media, expressing heartbreak over the deadly crash.

“It’s heartbreaking. The road has always been dangerous, but this is just unimaginable,” said one resident.

Police are appealing for dashcam footage or any information. They urge witnesses to call 101 and quote reference CAD 907/31MAR.

Transport for London Issues Heartfelt Statement

Claire Mann, TfL’s Chief Operating Officer, said:

“Our thoughts are with the family and friends of those tragically killed in yesterday’s collision. This is a devastating incident. Safety remains our top priority, and we’re working closely with police on the investigation.”
