Police Hunt Phone Snatcher in Endless Street

Police are on the lookout for witnesses after a teenager narrowly escaped a phone theft attempt in Endless Street, Salisbury. The incident happened around 4.50pm on Thursday, 9th February.

Man Poses as Innocent Bystander

The suspect is described as a tanned white man in his 40s, about 6ft tall with a medium build. He has brown hair, a short beard, wears jeans, and was seen without glasses. He got off a bus in Salisbury City Centre alongside another passenger just before the attack.

Bold Attempt Near Pizza Express

The man approached the teen near the Pizza Express restaurant, asking for the time. Moments later, he tried to snatch the phone. The brave teen punched the attacker and kicked him away before making a quick getaway — phone in hand.
