Boy, 10, In Critical Condition After Taxi Hits Him Outside Selfridges

A 10-year-old boy was rushed to hospital tonight after being hit by a taxi right outside Selfridges on Oxford Street. The youngster was crossing the road when the cab driver struck him.

Paramedics treated the boy at the scene before securing him to a spinal board. He was then rushed to hospital with life-changing injuries and remains in a critical condition.

Police Maintain Scene Cordons

Officers from the Met Police are still at the location, with cordons blocking off the area. The force has been approached for comment but has yet to respond.
