Cyclist Tragically Killed in Early Morning Crash Near Netley Marsh
Hampshire Police were called to a serious road traffic incident at 8.03am on Saturday, 12 November, on Tatchbury Lane. Cyclist Ashley Cron, 37, was pronounced dead at the scene.
Family Pay Heartbreaking Tribute
Ashley’s family, supported by specialist officers, shared an emotional tribute:
“Ash was all of our everythings. He was an amazing, fun daddy to his five children and a loving husband, son, grandson, and cousin. Words cannot describe the pain we are all going through. We will never recover but deeply appreciate all the support from family and friends. Sleep tight Daddy, we love you millions, billions, squillions, forever and ever with a cherry on top.”
Police Hunt Witnesses and Dashcam Footage
The investigation into the crash is ongoing. Police urge anyone who saw a cyclist in the area between 2.40am and 8am on Saturday morning to come forward.
