High-Speed Chase Ends in Crash with Police and Bus
On Monday night, January 1, a routine stop turned dangerous when a Vauxhall Corsa refused to halt on Prince Charles Road, SE3. Officers quickly authorised a pursuit involving two police cars.
Crash on Shooters Hill Sparks Hospital Visits
At around 10:15pm, the fleeing Corsa smashed into a bus and the two pursuing police vehicles on Shooters Hill, SE18. Three officers were injured and rushed to hospital but have since been discharged.
Suspects Arrested, Roads Closed
The driver and two passengers in the Corsa escaped unhurt. All three men were arrested at the scene and remain in custody. Emergency services shut down local roads while they managed the aftermath.
