Boy, 8, Dies After Falling From Sherwood House Window
Nottinghamshire Police are probing a tragic incident on Costock Avenue, Sherwood, after an eight-year-old boy fell from a house window on Wednesday, 18 September 2024.
Emergency Services Rush to the Scene
At around 7:15 PM, East Midlands Ambulance Service received a distress call. Paramedics arrived swiftly and rushed the boy to Queens Medical Centre. Despite their best efforts, the child sadly succumbed to his injuries.
Police Appeal for Information
Officers remain at the scene as they investigate the circumstances surrounding the fall. Chief Inspector Jon Scurr expressed his condolences:
“This is a tragic and devastating loss of life, and our thoughts are with the boy’s family and loved ones. We thank those who have come forward and urge anyone else with information to get in touch as soon as possible.”
