Kent Police swooped at 7am on Tuesday, 7 July 2020, raiding several Spade Lane homes as part of a major crackdown on vehicle thefts across the county.

Two Men Arrested Over Vehicle Theft Conspiracy

Two men, aged 42 and 46, were detained on suspicion of conspiracy to steal. Both remain in custody while officers dig deeper.

Stolen Motorhome and Van Recovered

Alongside the arrests, police seized over £30,000 in cash and recovered a suspected stolen motorhome and van from the properties searched.

Vehicle Thefts Cost County Over £50,000

Since January, Kent Police have recorded numerous thefts of cars, vans, and caravans across towns like Dover, Canterbury, Folkestone, Faversham, Gillingham, and Maidstone, with total losses topping £50,000.
