Thanet Cops Nab Suspects with £5K Worth of Coke and Class A Drugs

Thanet’s Community Policing Team were on patrol in Dane Valley on the morning of Wednesday 12 October 2022 when they spotted suspicious activity near a car.

Wrap of Class A Found in Quick Search

A swift search of the vehicle uncovered a wrap of suspected class A drugs. Not stopping there, officers followed leads to a property in Margate town centre.

Massive Drug Haul and Drug Dealing Gear Seized

Inside, they found large amounts of class A and B drugs, including a hefty block of suspected cocaine worth over £5,000 on the streets. Cash, scales, bags, and other tools typical of drug dealing were also taken.

Two Arrested but Released Under Investigation

A 27-year-old man from Margate and a 24-year-old woman from Canterbury were arrested on suspicion of possessing drugs with intent to supply. Both have since been released under investigation as enquiries continue.
