Terrified Toddler Bitten by Husky at Southampton Car Park

A two-year-old girl was left traumatised after being bitten by a Husky dog at a Southampton car park. The incident happened at Antelope Business Park on Bursledon Road on Tuesday 29 January between 3pm and 3.45pm.

Friendly Pup Turns Aggressive

The little girl was with her father when she first approached the tethered Husky outside Lidl. The dog seemed friendly at first, but on their way out, the same dog bit the girl’s face.

She suffered nasty bite marks on her nose and chin, needing stitches to treat the wounds.

Police Hunt Husky Owner

Officers from Hampshire Constabulary are on the lookout for the dog’s owner. They want to review the dog’s behaviour and warn the public:

“Refrain from approaching a dog you don’t know without the owner present and with their consent — especially if the dog is tethered.”
