UK’s Last Evac Flight from Tel Aviv Set for Sunday Amid Improved Israel Security
The UK government has announced the final scheduled evacuation flight from Tel Aviv will leave on Sunday, 29 June. Emergency repatriation efforts are winding down as demand falls and the security situation in Israel improves.
Five Flights Already Evacuated Brits from Israel
The Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office (FCDO) confirmed that five evacuation flights have successfully flown British nationals and their families out of Israel following recent tensions between Israel and Iran. The FCDO urges all remaining UK citizens in Israel to register immediately through the official Register Your Presence portal.
Final Flight Details & What’s Next
- Departure Date: Sunday, 29 June
- No further evacuation flights are planned at this time
Passengers who have registered will be contacted with flight details. The FCDO is also exploring repatriation via land borders but notes very low interest in this option.
“The safety of British nationals remains our top priority. Our teams are working around the clock to monitor the situation and provide necessary support,” an FCDO spokesperson said.
How to Register for the Final Flight
British nationals still in Israel who want to travel on the last government evacuation flight must urgently sign up via the Register Your Presence portal. After registering, travellers will receive further instructions on how to proceed.
