Man Dies and Three Injured in Knife Attack on Primrose Crescent
Emergency services rushed to Primrose Crescent just after 7.35pm on Wednesday following reports of a serious disturbance involving several individuals.
Fatal Stabbing Shocks Local Community
Officers arrived to find four people injured. Despite frantic efforts by paramedics, a man was pronounced dead at the scene.
Three others were rushed to hospital with suspected knife wounds, their conditions not yet confirmed.
Two Men Arrested at Scene
Police detained two men in connection with the attack. Both are currently in custody and will be questioned as the murder investigation unfolds.
Armed Police Sent to Secure the Area
Superintendent Tracey Little revealed that armed units and multiple police resources were deployed to manage the chaotic scene.
“A murder investigation has been launched and we are in the early stages of our enquiries to establish the circumstances surrounding the incident,” she said. “We would like to hear from anyone who may have witnessed the incident or has information concerning it.”
The scene remains cordoned off on Primrose Crescent as detectives carry out their inquiries.
