Teen Cyclist Killed in Deadly Crash with VW Polo in Teynham
A black VW Polo was heading along Lower Road, Teynham, when it smashed into a green Barracuda bicycle just after midnight on Monday, May 2, 2022.
The teenage cyclist, in his late teens, tragically died at the scene after the collision at around 12:30am.
Three Arrested Over Fatal Crash
Police have arrested three suspects in connection with the fatal smash: an 18-year-old man from Faversham, a 19-year-old man from Sheerness, and a 20-year-old woman from Chatham. All three have been taken into custody.
Police Hunting Witnesses and Footage
The Serious Collision Investigation Unit (SCIU) is probing the crash and urgently wants witnesses to step forward.
