Police hunt man after woman sexually assaulted in alleyway in the early hours
Incident details
A 22-year-old woman was sexually assaulted while walking along Carlton Road towards James Weld Close between 1.30am and 1.45am on Saturday, August 27. The attacker struck in a narrow alleyway off Carlton Road, assaulting the woman over her clothes.
Police description of suspect
- White male, aged 25 to 29
- 6 feet tall with a slim build
- Blond, spiky hair flopping to the right
- Blond beard
- Wearing a thin grey or blue t-shirt and blue jeans
Officers say the investigation is still in its early stages but they are following up all leads.
