Woman Hurt in Westminster Crash – Police Hunt Witnesses
Police are on the lookout for witnesses after a crash in Westminster left a woman seriously injured. The smash happened just after 5pm on Friday, 31 May on Wellington Street, WC2.
Pedestrian Struck by Car, Injuries Possibly Life-Changing
Officers and paramedics rushed to the scene where a 43-year-old woman was hit by a car. She was taken to a central London hospital. Although her injuries are not believed to be life-threatening, they could be life-changing. The driver stayed at the scene and was not arrested.
Serious Collision Unit Leading Investigation
The Serious Collision Investigation Unit (SCIU) is probing the crash. Detectives urge anyone who saw what happened or has dash cam footage to come forward.
