London Rocked by 42 Hours of Stabbings: Four Men Attacked, One Dead

Over just 42 hours between April 14 and 15, London saw a brutal spike in knife violence. Four men were stabbed across the city — one tragically lost his life. The Metropolitan Police are on high alert, investigating separate incidents in Leyton, Hackney, Palmers Green, and Kennington.

Palmers Green: Teen Stabbed Inside Restaurant

At 2:50pm on April 15, police rushed to Green Lanes near Aldermans Hill after reports of a stabbing inside a restaurant. A 19-year-old man was found injured but his wounds were non-life-threatening. He was taken to hospital, and enquiries are ongoing. No arrests yet.

Hackney: Man in 30s Hurt in Late Night Altercation

Just before 9:30pm on April 15, officers responded to a disturbance on Shakespeare Walk, Hackney. A man in his 30s was spotted with stab wounds and taken to hospital. His injuries are serious but not life-changing. Police continue to search for suspects; no arrests made so far.

Kennington: 21-Year-Old Giovanny Rendon Bedoya Fatally Stabbed

The deadliest attack happened just before 9:20pm on April 14 on Hillingdon Street, Kennington. Giovanny Rendon Bedoya, 21, was found with fatal stab wounds. Despite paramedics’ efforts, he was pronounced dead at the scene. Five men and a woman, all in their 20s, were arrested on suspicion of murder and are currently in custody.

Leyton: Man in 50s Stabbed Outside Fire Station

Around 3:30pm on April 14, police were called to Church Road, outside Leyton Fire Station. A man in his 50s was discovered with stab wounds, treated by paramedics, and taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. No arrests have been made.

Police Appeal for Information
