A fourth person has been charged in connection with the fatal stabbing of 21-year-old Robert Robinson in Deptford last year.
New Suspect Charged
Jackson Uwagboe, 18, of uk/where/hamilton/">Hamilton Street, Lewisham, has been formally charged with murder and possession of a machete/zombie knife.
Robert Robinson was stabbed to death on Carteret Way late on June 6, 2024. Emergency services were called, but despite efforts to save him, he tragically died at the scene.
Three Others Already Charged
Uwagboe joins three other suspects already charged with murder:
- Kirk Harris, 18, of Upper Brockley Road, New Cross
- Ryan Wedderburn, 18, of Windless Place, Deptford
- Dalziell Wedderburn, 44, of Windless Place, Deptford
Additional Charge for Perverting the Course of Justice
A fifth person, Ryan Davis, 18, of Northover, Grove Park, has been charged with perverting the course of justice.
He is accused of arranging transport for Wedderburn and Harris to help them flee the murder scene.
Ongoing Investigation
The Metropolitan Police continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding Robert Robinson’s killing.
