Police Hunt Owner After Girl Bitten by Pitbull in St Leonards Park

Teen Girl Bitten in Broad Daylight

Police are on the lookout after a 14-year-old girl was bitten by a dog in St Leonards. The attack happened on Wednesday, 29 May, around 9:45am in Gensing Gardens, just off Charles Road. The girl suffered a minor arm injury but has thankfully been spared serious harm.

Dog and Owner Description

The dog was described as a medium-sized, brown and white pitbull-type breed. It was on a rope lead and answered to the name Panda. The owner is believed to be a slim man in his 20s or 30s, about 5’7” tall.

Police Urge Witnesses to Step Forward

Officers want to speak to the dog’s owner as soon as possible and are appealing to anyone with information to come forward. If you saw anything or know who owns Panda, contact police on 101 or report online quoting serial 752 of 29/05.
