Detectives gathered strong evidence, pushing the case to court where Bell admitted guilt. Assistant Chief Constable Stuart Ellison said:

“We are committed to taking decisive action against those who participated in the violence that affected Tamworth last month. The behaviour exhibited on that day is completely unacceptable and we will continue to seek justice for the community and hold those responsible to account.”

Bell will face sentencing at Stafford Crown Court on October 28, 2024. More arrests are expected as the crackdown on the violent unrest continues.
