Man Arrested in Shocking Human Trafficking Probe
Lucky Osazee Enoghegase, living at Great Western House, Frenchville Lane, Galway, was hauled in by police yesterday morning. The arrest is part of a major ongoing investigation into human trafficking and related crimes.
Held Overnight and Charged
Enoghegase was held overnight at Mullingar Garda Station. This morning, at Longford District 1 court, he faced charges of conspiring with another individual to traffic a person for exploitation, plus an additional trafficking-related charge.
Court Appearance and Bail Update
When the charges were read out last night, Enoghegase stayed silent. His lawyer, Frank Gearty, confirmed no bail application would be submitted today but promised one at a later date.
Remanded Until Next Week
Judge John Brennan ordered Enoghegase to remain in custody until next Thursday. He will appear again at Mullingar District Court then.
