Woman Dies After Stirling Incident
Police have identified the woman who died following a disturbance on Craighall Street, Stirling. She is 54-year-old Michele Rutherford, a local resident.
Family Asks for Privacy
Michele’s family has requested privacy during this difficult time. She passed away at Queen Elizabeth University Hospital after the incident, which occurred shortly after 11am on Tuesday, 7 March 2023.
Two Others Injured, Suspect Charged
Two other women, aged 29 and 58, were also hurt in the same incident. A 32-year-old woman has been charged in connection with Michele’s death and the serious assaults on the two other victims. She is due to appear at Stirling Sheriff Court on Thursday, 9 March 2023.

Detective Inspector Scott Roxburgh said: “Our thoughts very much remain with Michele’s loved ones at this time, along with everyone else involved in this incident.”
