Paedophile Astrid Hilton Jailed for Web Cam Abuse of 7-Year-Old Boy

Astrid Hilton, once of Northampton, has been sentenced to over six years behind bars for horrifying child abuse stretching back to 2004. The vile predator began abusing a seven-year-old boy by forcing him to perform sexual acts live on webcam for paedophiles overseas.

Abuse Spans a Year, Culminates in UK Assault

The abuse continued for roughly a year, culminating in a sickening act when a paedophile flew in from Canada to Northampton. There, the boy was forced into further appalling sexual acts.

Victim’s Brave Stand Leads to Justice

After carrying the trauma for nearly 16 years, the survivor bravely reported Hilton’s crimes to Northamptonshire Police in 2020, now aged 24. Detective Sergeant Andrea Taylor launched an investigation leading to Hilton’s arrest and charges on nine counts.

Six Years and Eight Months Prison Sentence

Hilton pled guilty and was sentenced at Northampton Crown Court on December 10. DS Taylor praised the victim’s courage and resilience, saying:

“I am incredibly proud of the young man in this case who has shown courage beyond measure. He is so much more than a victim – strong, kind, and articulate, refusing to be defined by the actions of a depraved individual like Hilton.”

“Hilton is finally where she belongs. When that cell door slams each night, I hope she remembers the prison she built around that boy’s life.”

“Thanks to this young man’s bravery, justice has been served after nearly 16 years.”

Northamptonshire Police Urge Victims to Come Forward
