Police Raid Leads to Arrest

Detectives from the Kent and Essex Serious Crime Directorate swooped on Wierton Road, Boughton Monchelsea, around 1.30pm on Friday, 6 November 2020. The raid was part of an ongoing crackdown on drug crime in the area.

Man Charged with Cocaine Supply

Robert Edwards, 51, from Lyngs Close, Yalding, was arrested at the scene. He now faces serious drug charges, specifically possession with intent to supply cocaine.

Court Appearance and Custody

Edwards appeared before Medway Magistrates on Saturday, 7 November. He was remanded in custody and is due back in Maidstone Crown Court on 4 December 2020.
