James Golding Slammed With 19-Year Jail Sentence for Horrific Attacks
Kent Police busted James Golding after a woman reported he brutally assaulted and raped her at his home earlier in March 2022.
Trapped and Traumatized
Despite her desperate attempts to escape, Golding dragged the woman back and locked the door. Over the course of the evening, he unleashed violence and multiple sexual assaults. Worse still, he forced her to drink ecstasy-laced drinks.
Chilling Digital Evidence Uncovered
The 43-year-old from Queens Road was charged on 4 April 2022 with false imprisonment, administering a substance with intent, assaults, rape, sexual assault, and voyeurism. During his arrest, cops seized his phones, a hard drive, and a laptop.
Shockingly, investigators found disturbing footage showing Golding raping another woman. This discovery opened a fresh probe, resulting in two extra rape charges.
Justice Served at Canterbury Crown Court
Golding was sentenced to 19 years behind bars on 24 June 2024, plus an extra four years on licence after release. Detective Constable Robert Potter said:
“Our priority is to ensure victims are heard and supported. The detailed investigation uncovered further crimes, ensuring the full scale of Golding’s dangerous behaviour against women was exposed and factored into sentencing.”
Kent Police continue their commitment to protecting victims and bringing offenders like Golding to justice.
