County Lines Drug Dealer Busted in Dawn Raid
Enoch Banga’s criminal empire exposed
Enoch Banga spent months targeting drug users and addicts across Kent. His reign ended in a dramatic early morning raid, where police swooped on his Swanley flat. Officers seized heroin, crack cocaine, and thousands in dirty cash.
Undercover sting unearths bulk texts
The West Kent County Line and Gangs Team uncovered a ruthless supply chain running from May to September 2022. Banga regularly blasted out mass marketing texts from two phones under the alias ‘Tel’, pushing drugs to customers. On 21 July, CCTV caught Banga buying phone top-up credit in Swanley, linking him directly to the operation.
Early morning bust wins the case
At 5am on 15 September, police stormed Banga’s flat on Sycamore Drive. They found over 120 grams of Class A drugs plus nearly £4,000 cash. Phones and SIM cards tied to the county line were seized as evidence.
Justice served with a hefty jail term
The 28-year-old was charged with possession and supply of Class A drugs and possessing criminal property. After pleading guilty, Banga was slammed with a five-year, two-month prison sentence at Maidstone Crown Court on 20 March 2023.
Detective Constable Bex Kemp said: “Banga is a repeat offender with total disregard for the law. The damage dealers like him cause to families and communities is heartbreaking. Thankfully, the courts have handed down a sentence that truly reflects the severity of his crimes.”
“Our county lines teams are making vital inroads, but we urge local residents to stay vigilant and report any suspicious activity to keep communities safe.”
