Dad Jailed for Sexually Abusing Teen Daughter After Reconnecting
A 46-year-old father has been sentenced at Woolwich Crown Court for sexually touching his teenage daughter in two chilling incidents. To protect the victim’s identity, his name has not been released.
From Stranger to Predator
The man had been a “ghost” in his daughter’s life, largely absent until she was 15. When they reconnected, he cruelly exploited her excitement and trust.
After taking her shopping, he invited her to his house. There, despite her clear attempts to keep him at bay, he initiated sexual contact.
“Over the course of the night, what should have been a joyful event turned into a nightmare,” said His Honour Judge Christopher Kinch.
Chilling Silence and Second Attack
The next morning, he warned his daughter not to tell anyone. Days later, he returned to the family home, entered her room, and abused her once more.
Friends and family noticed her changed behaviour and reported it to police. A phone search uncovered disturbing searches for incest pornography.
Justice Served: Jail and Restrictions
The man, with no previous convictions, was immediately sentenced to 15 months in prison. He is banned from living with anyone under 16.
“You have broken the most painful trust that a child should have in their parents,” Judge Kinch told him.
