Teen Charged with Attempted Murder in Southampton Stabbing
A shocking stabbing rocked Southampton around 1pm on Friday, 18 November. A 19-year-old man suffered life-threatening injuries but has since been discharged from hospital.
17-Year-Old Boy Faces Serious Charges
This morning (2 December), police charged a 17-year-old Southampton boy—whose identity is withheld for legal reasons—with attempted murder, possession of an offensive weapon in a public place, and violent disorder.
He appeared at Southampton Magistrates’ Court and was remanded to Southampton Crown Court, due to appear on 9 December.
Four Charged So Far in Major Investigation
The teenager is the fourth person charged over the incident. Earlier suspects include:
- Bobby Roy, 18, of Matheson Road, charged with attempted murder, possession of a knife, and violent disorder.
- Roman Omari, 18, from Queensway, with the same charges.
- Rajveller Landa, 19, of Surrey Road, also charged with attempted murder, possession of an offensive weapon, and violent disorder.
All three men have been remanded and are set to appear at Southampton Crown Court on 23 December.
Ongoing Enquiries and Further Arrests
Yesterday (1 December), another 17-year-old from Southampton was arrested on suspicion of attempted murder and has been bailed with conditions while investigations continue.
Additionally, three Southampton men aged 18, 19, and 21 were arrested in connection with the attack and remain on bail as police follow up leads.
