Police officer James Riley, 27, is facing shocking attempted murder charges. The serving Lancashire officer was arrested after a night-time incident at a Manchester hotel.
Woman Found Seriously Injured at Manchester Hotel
Just after 11.30pm on Thursday, 10 November 2022, officers were called to a Brook Street hotel over concerns for a woman’s welfare. Emergency services rushed the woman to hospital, where she remains in a stable condition.
Riley Remanded, Court Date Set
Riley has been remanded in custody and is due to appear at Manchester Crown Court on Monday 14 November 2022. Police urge anyone with information to come forward.
