Drugs Raid Nets Suspected Cocaine and Cannabis in Ebbsfleet Valley
Police swooped on an Ebbsfleet Valley home on Monday, January 9, 2023, uncovering a stash of drugs, including a hefty 200 grams of suspected cocaine hidden in a kitchen cupboard.
Harry Bishop and Claire Brown Arrested Over Drug Supply
Harry Bishop, 26, of Ackers Drive, was arrested and charged with two counts of drug possession with intent to supply – covering both cocaine and cannabis. Claire Brown, 26, from the same address, was also arrested and charged with involvement in drug distribution.
Harry Bishop Faces Additional Charges Over Police Chase
Bishop is under investigation for a separate incident from April 19, 2022. He allegedly failed to stop for police in Medway, crashing into a police car and private property in Rochester.
He now faces multiple charges, including:
- Two counts of drug possession with intent to supply
- Aggravated taking of a motor vehicle without consent
- Reckless driving
- Criminal damage
On Tuesday, January 10, Bishop appeared before Medway Magistrates’ Court and was remanded in custody. He is set to face Maidstone Crown Court on January 17.
Claire Brown Released on Bail
Claire Brown was granted bail and is due to appear in court on February 9. Authorities continue their crackdown on drug supply in the region.
