Paedophile Christopher Binch Jailed for Filming Abuse and Sharing Sick Images Online

NCA Cracks Down on Child Sex Offender

Christopher Binch, 36, was snapped up by the National Crime Agency (NCA) on 12 March 2022. He was caught chatting about his twisted sexual interest in children and uploading indecent images to a vile online child abuse group.

Horrific Evidence Found on Binch’s Phone

Officers seized Binch’s mobile and uncovered 123 indecent images and videos (IIOC) in categories A to C. Among the horrific stash were three videos Binch had filmed himself, showing the sexual abuse of a young child. He also had a quantity of extreme and banned images.

Lengthy Prison Term and Lifetime Sex Offenders Register

Binch was locked up and, in November last year, admitted ten charges including sexual assault of a child under 13, making and distributing child abuse images, possession of extreme pornography, and even having cocaine.

Binch’s partner in crime, Lyndsay Mobey, also pleaded guilty to sexually assaulting a child under 13 that same month.

Today at Leicester Crown Court, Binch was slammed with an eight years and one month prison sentence. He is now on the sex offenders register for life and has been slapped with an indefinite sexual harm prevention order.

NCA Vows to Protect Children From Abuse

“Binch and Mobey worked together to sexually abuse a young child, which he filmed and shared with other paedophiles online,” said an NCA spokesperson.

“Their actions were calculated and abhorrent; exploiting this child to satisfy their own sexual gratifications and gain some horrific form of kudos among the like-minded online.

“Safeguarding children from sexual abuse is a priority for the NCA. We work tirelessly to identify offenders and ensure they are brought to justice so they no longer pose a threat.”
